Mina olarak, yazılım geliştirme projelerimizde bize destek olacak dinamik ve öğrenmeye açık bir Yazılım Stajyeri arıyoruz. Çalışma şekli tamamen uzaktan olacaktır.

Görev ve Sorumluluklar:

• Yazılım geliştirme projelerinde aktif rol almak
• Mevcut kodları gözden geçirip iyileştirmeler yapmak
• Yeni yazılım çözümleri üretmek
• Test ve hata ayıklama süreçlerinde destek olmak

Aranan Nitelikler:

• Python, Unix bilgisi
• Bilgisayar mühendisliği veya ilgili bölümlerde öğrenci
• Takım çalışmasına yatkınlık
• Öğrenmeye açık ve motivasyonu yüksek
• İstanbul'da ikamet eden ve haftada 1-2 gün ofisimize gelmeye uygun

Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern who will be working with a team of software engineers and design engineers to develop next generation engineering software solutions. Work location will be Kartal, Istanbul

Job Description Site Overview:

GE Aerospace has an advanced engineering center located in İstanbul, Kartal, complemented by cutting-edge laboratories in Kocaeli and Gebze. Our offices in İstanbul and Ankara provide essential support to commercial and defense engines across the country. Our highly skilled engineers at the Türkiye Technology Center contribute to GE Aerospace’s engineering work on indigenous programs, new engine programs, software development, and additive manufacturing, supporting the country’s position as an advanced aerospace hub. Role Overview:

• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
• Understand performance parameters and can assess application performance

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and eager-to-learn STEM student with hands-on software coding experience, a strong understanding of core data structures and algorithms, and a collaborative mindset to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace engineering projects in a dynamic and respectful team environment.

Required Qualifications:

• BSc (year 3/4) or MSc student of STEM
• Have awareness of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security,   Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
• Understand core data structures and algorithms and has the ability to implement them using language of choice.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good command of English & Turkish (reading/writing)
• Eager to learn
• Open to communication
• Team player
• Self-motivated
• Hands on SW Coding Experience
• Experience with DevOps is a big plus
